Mr. Beringer established Beringer & Associates in January 2000. In 2005, he created Plexus Total Risk Management, Inc., and Creative Solutions SPC (as the Licensed Captive Senior Director). Liability Program Management was formed in 2019 and has provided services to the not-for-profit and construction business
community.
From 2016 to 2019, Mr. Beringer served as Liability Program Manager for various municipal Joint Power Authorities. He directed the liability exposures to their conclusion for eighteen local cities, cases valued from $250,000 through the reinsurance attachment of $30.0 million.
Before B&A, Mr. Beringer directed litigation for various insurance carriers, including Specialty Risk Services, Twin City Fire Insurance, Hartford Fire Insurance Company, Great Western Insurance Company, Great American, and the Automobile Club of Southern California.
Mr. Beringer holds an LPCS designation, an RPA, an OSHA 10 (construction), and an OSHA 30 (general industry). He is a graduate of the SBA’s Small Business Management program; listed as A.M. Best approved consultant; a graduate of The
Mediation Center; and qualified as a mediator under the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program Act of 1993 and Business & Profession Code 465.
